The Central Presbyterian Church remodel was an excellent opportunity for creating an inviting space in a local building with a rich history. Our team aimed to create an inviting and functional environment the respected the church’s heritage.

The key to success in this project was achieving a harmonious balance between new construction and the preservation of the existing architectural context. This is most evident in the main lobby, where we removed walls that secluded people from each other and provided opportunities for open connection by introducing contemporary elements all the while maintaining the original charms. Our expert skills are on full display in the selection of materials and the color palette. The color scheme, carefully considered, brought a sense of vibrancy to the space without overshadowing the existing architecture.

We are grateful for the close collaboration with our clients at CPC, the technical knowledge of our engineer to safely connect new structure to the old foundations, and of course the exceptional expertise of Essex General Construction. This teamwork was instrumental in creating a space that is not only beautiful but also caters to the specific needs of the CPC community.

The construction and finished project photography is credited to Essex General Construction.

Engineering on this project was completed by Pioneer Engineering, LLC.

The Central Presbyterian Church remodel is a testament to the power of thoughtful design and collaborative spirit. It serves as a place of inspiration and connection for the community, ensuring its legacy continues to flourish.
